Our goal is not only to help participants secure employment, but also to provide them with the skills and confidence needed to maintain and grow within their careers.

Our youth-focused programming introduces participants ages 14–17 to career pathways, employment expectations, and professional environments before they enter the workforce full-time.

Young adults ages 18–24 receive individualized support as they transition into employment, higher education, skilled trades, or other career pathways.

• College and trade-school navigation 
• Application support 
• Career advancement preparation 
• Employment retention coaching

Launch In Purpose helps participants build the personal and professional skills necessary to become confident employees, leaders, and community members.

Programming may include:  

• Leadership development 
• Communication skills 
• Public speaking 
• Confidence building 
• Conflict resolution 
• Time management 
• Goal setting 
• Workplace professionalism 
• Personal accountability

Participants are introduced to foundational financial concepts that support long-term independence and stability.

Topics may include: 

• Budgeting 
• Saving 
• Understanding banking 
• Credit education 
• Managing income 
• Financial goal setting 
• Responsible spending 
• Building healthy financial habits

Our digital literacy services help participants strengthen the technology skills necessary for employment, education, and everyday professional environments.

Participants may receive training in: 

• Basic computer skills 
• Email communication 
• Online job applications 
• Microsoft Office and workplace technology
•  Virtual meeting platforms 
• Professional online communication 
• Digital organization and file management

Participants may be connected with mentors, workforce professionals, community leaders, and other supportive adults who can provide encouragement, accountability, guidance, and career exposure.

Individualized support may include: 

• Personal and career goal planning 
• Progress check-ins 
• Resource navigation 
• Barrier identification 
• Referrals to community resources 
• Continued encouragement throughout the participant’s journey

For participants interested in continuing their education or pursuing skilled trades, Launch In Purpose provides guidance to help them understand available pathways.

Support may include: 

• Exploring colleges and trade programs 
• Application guidance 
• Career-pathway exploration 
• Enrollment support 
• Connecting education choices to career goals 
• Identifying resources and opportunities

The Purpose Closet helps participants access professional clothing and essential items needed for interviews, employment, internships, career fairs, and other professional opportunities. 

Our goal is to ensure that a lack of appropriate attire does not prevent a young person from confidently pursuing an opportunity.

Transportation can often be a barrier to employment and professional development.

When funding and program resources are available, eligible participants may receive transportation assistance to support attendance at: 

• Job interviews 
• Employment 
• Training programs 
• Career fairs 
• Educational opportunities 
• Program activities

Our relationship with participants does not necessarily end once employment begins.

Launch In Purpose provides continued support to help participants successfully adjust to the workplace, navigate challenges, and build long-term employment stability.

Eligible participants may also have opportunities to receive retention incentives based on program requirements and available funding.

Launch In Purpose also works with schools, employers, government agencies, community organizations, and other partners to provide customized workforce and professional development programming.
